About the role: Are you passionate about working with young children and helping them take their first steps into learning? We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Hendon from January 2025. Application Requirements:
• Experience working with young children, particularly within an Early Years setting.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for early childhood education.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare (preferred but not essential).
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering fun and engaging lessons for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Assisting with the setup of creative learning activities that stimulate the children’s curiosity.
• Offering one-on-one or small group support to pupils who need extra attention.
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment.
• Building strong relationships with both pupils and parents to support the children’s development.
