Business Administration - Functional Support

Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.

Package: Starting from £26,860 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

AWE is currently recruiting for an experienced Functional Support Business Administrator.

You will co-ordinate and deliver an efficient, effective, timely and reliable business administration/information service via Local Help Points, iHubs, secretarial and embedded roles that meet our customer's needs across AWE.

This is a varied role which will consist of, but is not limited to, co-ordinating resources to meet short term service delivery objectives, identifying problems and providing solutions within set parameters or escalating if necessary and finding ways to continuously improve and exceed customer expectation.

This role will suit someone who has exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills and enjoys problem-solving.

Who are we looking for?

We do need you to have the following:

Working knowledge of administration procedures, systems and tools.

Extensive knowledge and use of MS Office and IT skills including the use of Microsoft products.

Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry

Important things you need to know:

You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.

Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis. Typically, 3 days onsite per week.
