Job Description: Manager Quality Control
1. Mandate:
* Designation: Manager Quality Control
* Department: Quality Assurance
* Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control, organoleptic assessment, and process functionalities
* Experience in the Rice/Grain industry.
2. Skills & Competencies:
* Macro:
* Inspect products/processes for compliance with standards and regulations.
* Knowledge of quality, food safety, and legislative requirements.
* Team building and external environment management.
* Vendor quality assurance and management.
* Micro:
* Develop and maintain quality standards and promote a quality-focused culture.
* Monitor product quality at all stages: incoming, in-process, and finished goods.
* Control critical points and ensure corrective actions where necessary.
* Regularly inspect production and warehouse operations for compliance.
3. Key Responsibilities:
* Implement QA Systems:
* Ensure compliance with the cpmaniy’s Quality and Food Safety policies.
* Monitor and control process parameters and product quality.
* Work closely with suppliers to meet quality standards.
* Audit & Compliance:
* Conduct regular audits of plants, suppliers, vendors, and warehouses.
* Ensure non-conformances are communicated and resolved promptly.
* Training & Development:
* Identify skill gaps and provide training to QA and plant teams.
* Support new product development and successful product launches.
* Benchmarking & Reporting:
* Conduct benchmarking studies and provide feedback for improvement.
* Prepare and communicate MIS reports and take corrective actions as needed
