Job Title: Fire Damper Engineer
Location: Leicester, East Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £38k + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking a hardworking Fire Damper Engineer, who is based in the Midlands, ideally with good access to the M6 and / or M5. The company is a multi-faceted name within the Environmental sector, who offer a wide range of compliance management services. You will be joining a rapidly-growing Ventilation department, with a nationwide presence. Candidates will need to be flexible and motivated individuals, as there might be an element of travel within the position at times. We are seeking someone who is well placed to cover contracts in and around; Leicester, Wigston, Corby, Rugby, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Northampton, Daventry, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch, Birmingham, Droitwich Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock, Stafford, Lichfield, Tamworth, Derby, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol, Swindon, Oxford, Chester, Wrexham, Warrington, Stockport, Crewe, Manchester.

Experience / Qualifications:
- You will have previous or current experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer
- It is preferred that candidates hold a current CSCS card
- It would be beneficial to hold the BESA Fire Damper Testing & Installation certificate
- Well-versed in BS9999, TR19 and HSE guidelines
- Good time-keeping skills
- IT literate
- Able to produce detailed written reports
- Flexible to travel as needed

The Role:
- You will be completing thorough testing on Fire Dampers across a range of Commercial, Industrial, Food & Beverage and Manufacturing sites
- Undertaking inspections, installations, drop testing of fire dampers
- Assessing the safety and performance of fire dampers and associated systems
- Identifying any flaws and recommending appropriate repairs
- Writing regular service reports
- Adhering to health & safety guidelines at all times
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Working both independently and as part of a team
