A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Temporary Accommodation Housing Officer to join one of our most improved Local Authority clients in East London in an interim vacancy for the next six months, working from their office in Ilford 3 times a week.

This is a full time role for 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and you will be expected to:

Manage a portfolio of Temporary Accommodation properties, ensuring that any tenancy issues (e.g rent arrears/ASB complaints) are resolved quickly and promptly.
Complete settling in calls for clients in the temporary accommodation patch
Carry out visits to temporary accommodation properties
Manage relationship with temporary accommodation providers
Signpost clients to supporting services
Experience of dealing with difficult customers in a face to face setting, as well as having a sound knowledge of housing management/homelessness would be a real advantage for this post. A car driver and owner would be highly desirable, but not essential.
