Position: English Teacher

Location: Slough

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £120 – £220 per day

About Us: GSL Education is actively seeking qualified English Teachers to join our client schools in Slough. We are looking for dynamic educators who are passionate about fostering a love for English literature and language among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to students in Years 7 to 11.
Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
Essential Requirements:

Hold a UK teaching qualification, such as a PGCE in Secondary English with QTS.
Possess UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
Relevant teaching experience in a secondary school setting, particularly with students in Years 7 to 11.
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective behavior management skills.
Ability to build rapport quickly and work collaboratively within a team.
Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching English, with a commitment to student welfare.
In possession of an Enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
