Currently seeking an enthusiastic and energetic teaching assistant to join their unique school for ages 5 – 18 in Crawley, south of London. The ideal teaching assistant will showcase an excellent understanding of children with SEN and be able to recognise a child’s individual needs. This teaching assistant will also work closely with students on a one-to-one basis to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education and provide them with a comfortable environment.

As an SEN teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with various needs, including, ASD, ADHD and those with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. This school recognises that education can be a major source of stress and anxiety for some students, so the model teaching assistant will make it a priority to support students by focusing on their emotional development.
