Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of industrial batteries and related products. Focusing predominantly on the material handling sector, they are looking to bring on a new field-based team leader to cover the North of England from the North East. With a competitive salary, company van and bonus on offer, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced battery technician, looking to step up into a team leader position.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the team of field based engineers across the North of England
Servicing the company’s client base across the North East
Repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries used within the Material Handling industry
Reporting back to the Service Manager with regular updates
Representing the company in the right way on customer sites and always maintaining customer serviceRequirements

This role would suit an experienced battery engineer that has experience of running a team in the field. However, this isn’t essential, the company would also be interested in speaking with candidates that are battery engineers and are looking to step up into a team leader role. In terms of location, you will need to be based in the North East of England with a preference for candidates based between Middlesborough and Newcastle.

Competitive basic salary up to £34.8k (depending on experience)
Overtime paid at time ½ Monday to Saturday, double time on Sunday
