On behalf of our client, a leading fit-out firm based in West London, we are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join their team as a Trainee / Assistant Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in admin and document control, who is looking to grow and develop a career in project management.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will initially take on a key administrative and document control role, providing crucial support to the project management team. Over time, this role will evolve, offering exposure to various aspects of project management, allowing the individual to grow into a fully-fledged project management role.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the organisation and control of project documentation, ensuring all records are maintained to a high standard.
Assisting in general administrative tasks including scheduling, preparing reports, and managing communications.
Supporting the project management team with coordination, tracking project milestones, and communicating with stakeholders.
Gaining exposure to project management tasks with the opportunity to develop skills in this area.Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in an administrative or document control role, ideally within the construction or fit-out industry.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and flexible approach.
A keen interest in developing a career in project management, with the ambition to grow within the company.
