Job Purpose:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of my client’s facilities. The role involves maintaining mechanical, electrical, and public health systems to deliver a safe and compliant environment for staff and the public, including being responsible for managing a maintenance team. The manager will oversee preventive and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and support the wider team in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily facilities operations and perform repairs/replacements of systems, electrical, mechanical or public health systems and equipment.

* Execute PPM tasks to maintain equipment at peak performance.

* Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor and control facility systems.

* Manage external contractors, ensuring compliance with Safe Systems of Work.

* Ensure that all works is compliant with accepted engineering standards and with H&S guidelines.

You will bring:

* Proven track record as a Maintenance Manager.

* Experience with BMS, HVAC systems, and health and safety procedures.

* COSHH training, risk assessment knowledge, MEWP & Access Tower certification is desirable.

* People management and Leadership skills.

* Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage reactive tasks
