Howdens Joinery are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join our Supply Chain Application Development Team

What you will be doing:

Based at our office in Howden, East Yorkshire you will have the flexibility to work both onsite (minimum 1 day a week) and remotely.

This role offers a .NET Developer the opportunity to provide their expert technical skills to translate requirements into enterprise solutions for the business whilst maintaining exceptional levels of systems availability and support.

What we need from you:

- Experience within C# .NET Development /Full-Stack Development and have worked on technical projects from inception through to delivery.
- .NET 8 using C#
- Commercial experience using the MVC pattern
- Relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle
- Front-End scripting (e.g. React, TypeScript, Vue.js, Angular JS).
- Database design, programming (SQL) and query optimisation.
- Experience in ORM technologies such as EF 8
- Source control: TFS / GIT / Azure DevOps
- Working on technical projects from inception through to delivery
- Good understanding of unit testing frameworks and test coverage (Experience of automated Testing using a variety of MS Test, xUnit, Jet Brains and Moq would be useful)
- Demonstrable experience of object-oriented design patterns, code refactoring and awareness of SOLID principles
- Good exposure and understanding of Web services using Restful APIs. Applicants with any exposure to GraphQL is advantageous.
- Some exposure to Azure cloud hosting and PaaS services is advantageous
