Job Title: Engineering Manager - Automation Systems

Location - Hybrid working (Northampton)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in automation engineering
- 5+ years of management experience in cross-functional engineering teams
- Proven track record managing electrical, mechanical, and controls-based projects
- Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and processes

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers across electrical, mechanical, and controls disciplines
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of automation systems
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Drive continuous improvement in automation processes and methodologies

- PLC programming and integration
- SCADA systems
