Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Technician looking for a new career opportunity? Our client, a reputable chemical manufacturer based in the Greater Manchester area, is seeking a talented individual to become an essential part of their dynamic team.
Job Details:
* Complete the PM allocation of all electrical programs on site as per company standards, HSE standards, ATEX Standards, COMAH requirement and power and distribution systems.
* Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns.
* Able to organise and supervise various contractors as required at the site.
* Investigate and resolve equipment failures, determine root cause of failure, and recommend appropriate solutions to reduce re-occurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure.
Qualifications/Experience:
* HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (essential)
* 17th / 18th Edition
* SAP experience
* 2 years minimum Electrical experience in an ATEX Zone (desirable)
* CompEX (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification (desirable)
* Training in MEWP’s, mobile scaffold and lifting equipment (desirable)
What’s on offer:
* Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 15:00pm and 10:00am - 18:00pm (rotating weekly)
* Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (doe)
