Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a financial services business based in the North West as they look to recruit a Tax Manager on an interim basis as the business enters a busy period of the year.

This role will support the Tax Director in managing Tax Operations and ensuring Tax regulations for business objectives

Key Responsibilities

Lead corporate tax compliance and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate filings in accordance with local and international tax laws.
Develop, implement, and monitor effective tax strategies that minimize tax liabilities and align with the company's financial goals
Manage relationships with tax authorities, external advisors, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee tax audits and ensure the business remains compliant with all regulatory requirements
Stay current on changes to tax laws and provide guidance on their impact to the business.
Prepare and review corporate tax provisions for financial statements in collaboration with the finance team

The successful candidate will be qualified CTA, ACA with a proven background across corporate Tax, experience in financial services would be beneficial but not essential. Strong Analytical skills and stakeholder management experience required.

Interim length – 6 months

Location – Liverpool

Hybrid – Would require someone to be in the office, however part time can be considered

Day rate - £600 pd (Outside of IR35)
