Estimator – Secondary/Architectural Steelwork

Location: Near Wolverhampton
Salary: Dependent on experience

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team, working on secondary and architectural steelwork projects. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a background in the steel industry.

Responsibilities:

* Preparing detailed cost estimates for secondary and architectural steelwork projects.

* Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and requirements to assess material, labor, and time requirements.

* Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.

* Assisting in tender processes and ensuring timely submission of bids.

* Conducting regular cost analysis to maintain budget control and provide updates to management.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally within the secondary or architectural steelwork sectors.

* Strong knowledge of steel materials, fabrication, and industry pricing.

* Excellent communication skills to liaise with project managers, suppliers, and clients.

* Proficiency with estimation software and relevant tools.
