MJM Industrial is seeking a skilled and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Horsham.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems and equipment by performing both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs in line with agreed service levels. You will also be tasked with responding to site engineering emergencies, carrying out small installation works, and performing general repairs to building fabric and handyman duties.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. The ability to respond quickly to fault/breakdown requests while maintaining high standards of service delivery is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform planned and reactive maintenance to building plant, equipment, and systems.

* Respond promptly to engineering emergencies and breakdowns.

* Undertake small installation works and repairs to building fabric.

* Provide efficient and high-quality maintenance services to meet agreed service levels.

* Work collaboratively within a team to ensure operational success.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, ideally within a facilities management or similar setting.

* Ability to work on a wide range of systems, equipment, and building fabric.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

* Good communication and team-working skills.

* Proactive attitude towards both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 year’s FM experience, preferably within a critical environment

Practical knowledge of H&S requirements including RA’s, lock out Tag out, permits to work.

City & Guilds Electrical Competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.

Good building services knowledge.

Critical Environment Experience.

Good Customer relationship skills.

Working knowledge of “Permit to work” systems.

Understand and interpret technical drawings / processes.

Experience of CMMS and BMS systems.

Experience in a similar role.

Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.

Time served electrical apprenticeship.

HV switching qualification/experience current AP

18th Edition IEE Regulations

Legionella Certificate L8

Shift Pattern

Days only, 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts.
07:00am – 19:00pm

Evening call outs on duty are paid on a retainer.
