Our client, a leading Financial Planning company in Alton, are recruiting for a Financial Planning Administrator.

You must have strong administrative experience, and roughly 6 months+ experience within Financial Planning or similar.

While you will be a part of the admin team, you will be required to work independently. Full training and ongoing support are provided with the chance to progress your career within financial services.

Key Duties:

General administrative tasks including distributing the post, managing the info mailbox, managing/processing letters of authorities, answering calls and passing on messages to the correct staff members
Assist with booking annual reviews with clients and providing support to the advisers
Preparing client and adviser packs for annual reviews and ad-hoc meetings
Build relationships and liaise with other professionals including accountants, solicitors, and product providers (e.g. Aviva) etc
Process new and existing business (ISA/Pensions/Transfers etc)
Update and maintain company systems, ensuring client files are compliant
Preparation of client valuations and recommendation reports
Processing rebalances, switches and cash replenishment business resulting from annual review meetings etc
Processing attitude to risk questionnaire
Processing death claims and probate
Preparing more complex business and recommendation reports including bonds and trusts etc
Building of relevant fund portfolios and assisting with training new staff when necessaryExperience:

Strong administrative capacities with experience working within financial planning (6 months+)
Organisation and prioritisation skills
Time management and the ability to multitask
Excellent communication and customer service skills, liaising with clients
