Family Support East team in Central Bedfordshire are looking for a skilled social worker
to contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for children and families.

About the Role

They are seeking a Level 1 Social Worker to join our Family Support East team. This role offers a hybrid working model, providing you with the flexibility to work both remotely and in the field, ensuring the best support for the families they serve.

As a Social Worker in this team, you will:

Conduct assessments of children and families, identifying needs and risks.
Develop and implement tailored support plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
Work closely with children, young people, and their families to create safe and nurturing environments.
Provide direct support, advice, and interventions to promote family stability and well-being.
Participate in multi-agency meetings and maintain accurate records in line with statutory requirements.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A recognised social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
Registration with Social Work England.
Strong communication, assessment, and analytical skills.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families.
