Are you an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher looking for a flexible teaching role starting in January 2025? ABC Teachers is seeking a skilled Humanities Supply Teacher to work in a secondary school in the heart of Nuneaton. This role would be to cover for maternity cover and will be lasting for the entire academic year.
About the role
We are looking for a qualified and passionate Humanities teacher to join our secondary school on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching History, Geography, or Religious Studies, and will be able to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Humanities subjects (History, Geography, or Religious Education) to KS3 and KS4 students.
Follow school policies and adapt lesson plans as needed.
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure student engagement.
Work closely with other staff members to support student development and progress.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Humanities Teacher- January Start you will:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialism in one or more Humanities subjects at secondary level.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and engage students with creative teaching methods.
Experience in secondary schools is a plus, NQTs are encouraged to apply.
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
