I'm currently recruiting a General Accountant for a well-known company based in Milton Keynes. This is a vital part of the finance function where you will be a key member of the team and be able to add real value to the ever-changing finance department. This is a Fixed term contract until June 2025, so must be able to commit the full duration.

Responsibilities include:

Bank Reconciliation
VAT tasks
AP/AR
Manage payroll - preparation and processing
Month end processes - accruals and repayments
Headcount reporting
Assist with maintaining data to assist with budgets and forecasting
Assist with annual auditsSkills must include:

Previous accounting experience
VAT experience
Level 4 AAT or working towards
Good understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office
Can work to tight deadlines and adapt to new challenges
Have exceptional attention to detail and can multi-task
An enthusiastic attitude to work and the people around you
