Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for Anaerobic Digestion (AD) and renewable energy projects. The role of a Senior Electrical Engineer involves reviewing designs, specifying major power requirements, and ensuring seamless integration with the grid.

You will play a key role in overseeing electrical installations across multiple sites, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Electrical Engineer

* Review, refine, and specify power distribution and FEED designs for AD facilities.

* Oversee grid connection processes, liaising with DNOs and transmission operators.

* Manage 11kV power transmission and design LV distribution systems for AD plants.

* Provide hands-on site supervision to ensure smooth installation and resolve any technical issues.

* Lead electrical design for new builds and upgrades, including gas injection hubs.

* Work across multiple locations UK Wide

Requirements

* Strong background in power distribution, transmission, and LV system design.

* Experience in grid connections and liaising with DNOs for power infrastructure.

* Familiarity with Anaerobic Digestion, Biogas, or wastewater (preferred).

* Hands-on experience with installation and troubleshooting

* Ability to travel to multiple sites across the UK.
