Brownlee Cale are hiring for Roller Drivers for groundwork on a highways project in Gloucester for a Civil Engineering firm. The role is due to start in 2-3 weeks.
Essential Requirements:
* Valid CPCS or NPORS Ride on Road Roller (essential).
* Proven experience operating Road Rollers' on highways or civil engineering projects
* Experience with groundworks such as trenching, drainage, and site preparation, particularly on highways projects.
* Knowledge and understanding of site safety and operational procedures in a construction environment.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions accurately.
* Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks associated with groundworks and excavation.
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate with site supervisors and other team members.
Desirable Skills:
* Additional construction tickets or qualifications (e.g., CSCS, First Aid).
* Experience with highways-related machinery and tasks, such as road preparation, drainage installation, and traffic management
* Knowledge of machinery maintenance, fault identification, and troubleshooting.
