Are you experienced Health and Safety Manager, with experience of working within the manufacturing industry. The role will require that you manage all health and safety aspects within the company’s divisions.

The Job

* Maintain training records and plans for all departmental resources.

* Provide an effective internal communication plan for site and production managers in a timely manner.

* Document and circulate monthly H&S reports for discussion and review.

* Control and manage budget spend of H&S processes.

* Ensure the groups departments work within the H&S procedures and manage and log all accidents/incidents.

* Chair all monthly H&S briefs monthly to the group and take/manage actions where necessary.

* Identify and deliver the need for training of personnel in all H&S matters.

* Complete COSHH assessments as needed and involvement in MSDS documentation reviews.

Ensure compliance of company policies, procedures and objectives regarding initiatives and projects

About You

· Experience of H&S process and procedures within a manufacturing environment

· IOSH managing safety certificates or equivalent

· Confident to implement and deliver H&S processes to shop floor personnel and support their training and development in this area

· Commercial awareness of the textile industry and products would be an advantage

· Ability to have a flexible approach to out of hours work, if needed on occasion

· Good influencing skills and able to work well as part of a team
