Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative?

Location: TATA Steel, Llanwern Works, Newport NP19 4QZ

Rate: £11.66ph basic. 25% shift allowance £14.58ph.

Overtime also available at 1.5 (£17.49ph) and 2.0 (£23.32ph)

Contract length: 6 months initially

Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours, alternating weeks: Week one X4 12 hour shifts and Week two X3 12 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

* Ensuring material dispatched as per clients request

* Loading and receiving goods on an inbound and outbound basis

* Adhering to Health and Safety at all times

* General housekeeping including but not limited to stock takes, quality checks, reporting damages

* Operating machinery as part of the role (training provided)

Essential requirements:

* DRIVING LICENCE AND ACCESS TO OWN VEHICLE

* Previous experience within a Warehouse or Production environment

* Ability to work as a team-player

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation

* Able to conduct manual handling duties including bending, lifting bulky items and being on foot for long periods
