Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is thrilled to be selected as the Specialist Recruitment partner for Hedyn, a newly created Housing Association following a merger, to appoint an experienced People Advisor for a 6 months fixed-term contract.
The Opportunity
Hedyn is Wales' newest registered social landlord, driving unprecedented excellence in service to customers, whilst building award winning sustainable new homes and communities across all tenures. Due to the merger of two Housing Associations to form Hedyn, they are looking for a People (HR) Advisor, who will play an integral role in bringing the teams together
Responsibilities:
The key responsibility of this role is to play an active role in the consultation and selection process for roles in the merged organisation. You will -
Support in the development of consultation packs and planning for the consultation process
Play an active role in the running of consultation meetings
Maintain appropriate records, including minutes for any meeting, updates and delivery against project plans as required
Ensure that individuals and teams are well supported through the process
Ensure the process is delivered in line with the Hedyn values
Involvement with wider ER issues, not solely related to merger activity
Assist with reviewing & updating company policies and procedures
Provide guidance and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
Provide administration support for the Business Partners and wider people team

Two pension options to choose from - SHPS or Royal London with employer contribution up to 9%
Hybrid working (working across the Newport and Pontypool offices and working from home flexibility)
