Known for their reputation for excellence in manufacturing, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Press Operator to join their growing team.
Press Operator Responsibilities and Duties
* Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
* Assist in routine maintenance of press equipment as required
* Setting and running of power presses
* Ensuring all company quality procedures are adhered to at all times
* Reading and interpreting product/gauge technical drawings
* Communicating with other departments
* Ensuring effective feedback is provided when working with trial tools, modified tools and repairs
Experience Required
* Experience of operating power presses would be preferred
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Ability to operate basic measuring equipment (Vernier/Micrometer)
* Good communication skills
Full training will be given and those with an engineering background may be considered.
Press Operator Shift details
Rotating shifts
Week 1 - 5:30am till 2pm, 12:30pm finish Friday
Week 2 - 1:30pm till 10pm, 12pm till 7pm Friday
