The Opportunity

Based onsite at Torr Works near Shepton Mallet, a Limestone Super Quarry, one of the largest in Europe. We now have an opportunity for an Assistant Wash Plant Manager. Following a large investment into this Super Quarry we are now looking to expand our team and streamline processes onsite.

Responsible for a team of operatives across multiple shifts you’ll be the final part prior to distribution in our production process. In the Wash Plant you’ll lead a team to take our redundant materials from the initial production process, to clean and recycle them into quality products which can then be utilised. 

Health & Safety are key aspects to our quarries, so you’ll be responsible for ensuring a safe environment within your Wash Plant. 

The process involves taking large quantities of bulk materials into separate product lines, so experience of screening products through environments of bulk material screening such as a recycling or sand & gravel plants are transferable for this plant.

Who you are

You'll have experience leading a team in an industrial/ manufacturing environment.

You’ll ideally hold a H&S qualification, however we can look to support this where required.
