Project Manager / Permanent/ Watton - salary up to £ 50k

Position 1 Recruitment are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Watton that is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their engineering team.

Project Manager duties & responsibilities:

Overall management of assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products

Min of 5years experience in multidiscipline high value engineering/manufacturing

projects within O&G industry or similar

Expertise in project management of the whole life cycle of projects from order to final delivery

Capability to liaise with client, sub-vendors, Engineers, Project Buyer and Shop Floor

Supervisors to discuss and resolve technical, production and commercial issues

relating to agreed output.

Willingness and availability to attend on / off site client meetings as required by the company.

Project Manager will be comfortable with the following tasks: plan creation, maintenance and management (project milestones, critical path identification and ownership)

Change, Risk and Documentation management. Project procurement, management/involvement. Reporting on regular basis to internal and external stakeholders

Control and management and Inspection and certification management.

​​​​​​​Project Manager, with the assistance of Engineering team ensuring that all designs meet the project requirements in line with eat certification, local and international standards and regulations.

​​​​​​​Project Manager will have a Degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent relevant work experience. Familiarity with the following software capabilities and occasional use of

1. AX, Ceaser II, STAAD, Creo3 (ProE), AutoCAD, MS Project and MS office suite. Software and training will be provided where necessary. bid evaluation experience Overall management of assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products as well as proven experience in multidiscipline high value engineering/manufacturing projects is essential.

In return our client is offering a competitive salary dependant on experience up to £50K per annum. This is a permanent, full-time role Monday to Friday with early finish on Friday
