German speaking Bookkeeper
Location: Bromsgrove
Salary: £35,000 to £43,000 per annum

The company:
A dynamic European company based in Bromsgrove

Main duties:
An exciting opportunity to join an international business where you will oversee the day-to-day running of the UK office focusing on the accounts and finance department.

The role:
- Be responsible for the bookkeeping and purchase ledger
- Process invoices as well as liaising with creditors and suppliers
- Assist with financial reports including cash flow and P&L
- Be involved in fee estimates and budgets relating to projects
- Assist with financial reports and month-end balance sheets
- Ensure invoices are prepared correctly and processed for payment on time
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Resolve any financial discrepancies

The candidate:
- Previous experience in an Accounting role – Essential
- Relevant qualifications (UK or Germany) required
- Fluent in German (written and spoken) - Essential
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to situations
- Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
- IT literate

The salary: £35,000 to £43,000 per annum
