The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of plant machinery and automated equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity. Key responsibilities include:
* Fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing all plant machinery, including palletisers, injection moulding, and robotics
* Performing preventative and total productive maintenance (PPM/TPM)
* Fault-finding and diagnostics on PLC systems, including Alan Bradley and Siemens
* Working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime
* Managing and ordering stock parts for maintenance
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* A recognised Engineering Qualification or be Apprentice Trained
* Ideally, hold an 18th Edition certification
* Proven ability to fault-find, diagnose, and repair machinery with minimal downtime
* Experience working with PPM schedules and within FMCG environments
* Preferably 70% Electrical / 30% Mechanical, though other biases will be considered
