Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement active travel infrastructure, including cycleways and footways, in accordance with LTN 1/20 guidelines.
* Conduct feasibility studies and traffic assessments for active travel projects.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups, to ensure project alignment with local needs and regulations.
* Provide technical support and guidance on active travel and sustainable transport solutions.
* Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
* Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in traffic engineering, with a focus on active travel, cycleway, and footway design.
* Comprehensive knowledge of LTN 1/20 and its application in active travel projects.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Flexibility to commute to the office 2 days a week (hybrid working model)
