Teaching Assistant - Mainstream

£90 - £97 per day

Age group: EYFS

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30)

Start date: Immediate

Value Education are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary school in the Manchester area.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.

Teaching Assistant duties:

· Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead

· Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children

· Assisting with group activities

· Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis

Teaching Assistant requirements:

· Previous experience working with children

· Teaching Assistant level 2 qualification is beneficial but not essential

· Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff

· Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently

· Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways

· Able to commute to Manchester
