Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic manufacturing team? This company is seeking a talented Surface Mount Machine Operator to be a part of their thriving operations in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. As a Surface Mount Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:

Hand soldering Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001 standards
Performing fine soldering work under magnification
Assembling surface mount and through-hole components
Undertaking detailed standard assembly and manufacturing activities
Ensuring all work is completed to the required procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and timescalesTo be successful in this role, you will need:

Prior knowledge and experience in circuit card assembly
Excellent dexterity for fine work
The ability to read and interpret layouts
A willingness to work flexible shift patterns
Exceptional attention to detail
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
ESD trainingDesirable skills include PC literacy and experience with IPC 610 & 001 hand soldering.
