About the Role

As junior Product Development Manager (Food Science), you will be a key member of the product development function, with the objective or driving profitable growth and innovation agenda and maintaining the food values onsite.

Key Responsibilities

You will be the guardian of food values onsite and continually monitor our product quality
Create newly developed product in line with agreed business plans & market
Excite and inspire the customer and businesses with innovation
Challenge existing products and processes and ensure they are upgraded where necessary

About You

If you're fanatical about food, thrive under pressure and have the can-do spirit that's created our success. This is a fantastic position where we are recruiting or succession planning and providing you with exposure to all sorts of food areas and groups.

Key Skills

Ideally you will be degree qualified or equivalent in food science or a similar type of disciple
You will have an understanding of food science or food development or food trends or have worked with linked retailers or suppliers.The role is based at our Meal Solutions site in Carlisle and the typical working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm.
