Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for an Assistant Housing Officer on behalf of our client based in Birmingham

This is a full-time role on a temporary 3-month contract (Ongoing) at £13.20 / hour This role supports housing management services, ensuring tenancies are well-maintained and communities thrive. Working closely with Housing Officers, the position involves case management, tenancy enforcement, resident support, and multi-agency collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering high-quality housing management services.
Conduct tenancy visits, investigate complaints, and enforce tenancy agreements.
Support residents with housing advice, welfare benefits, and tenancy sustainment.
Promote clean, safe neighbourhoods through engagement and enforcement.
Maintain accurate case records and prepare reports.
Collaborate with agencies to address community and tenancy issues.
Ensure compliance with housing policies, safeguarding, and health and safety regulations.
Support resident participation and community engagement initiatives.Person Specification:

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in housing, tenancy management, or community engagement.
Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and policies.
Proficiency in IT systems for case management and reporting.
Ability to handle challenging situations professionally.Additional Information:
