Security Engineer

Our client is a well known local security firm, established for more than 15 years, they work on a range of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms and Access Control Installations around South Oxfordshire.

Due to growth in their reputation and demand for their excellent services, they are working with us here at Better People Ltd to source an experienced Security Engineer (you might be completing your apprenticeship or even be in year 2)

They provide an excellent work environment with sensible family-oriented hours working 8-5 Monday to Friday.

You will be involved in all aspects of security installation and maintenance, working on all types of client properties - commercial, residential,  care homes, hospitals and schools. You will be driving the company van which you can take home. 

You will also be provided with your lap top, company van, fuel card, uniform, mobile phone allowance and all bigger tools.

We can consider someone who is part way through their apprenticeship too, so please apply if that is you.

Ideal Candidates:

Will have experience in a similar role working as a Security Engineer.
Will be customer focussed and team players
Will live within 40 minutes' drive of Abingdon or in South Oxfordshire
May have qualified as an electrician/have electrical qualifications
Will have clean UK driving licence
