Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN TA to join our team in Beckton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with special educational needs and be committed to making a positive impact in their lives. This SEN TA role requires patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to student care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities as an SEN TA.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN in Beckton.
Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Support students with their personal care needs, including toileting and feeding.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for all students in Beckton.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student development.Qualifications:
Previous experience as an SEN TA or in a similar role is preferred.
Experience working with children with special educational needs.
A patient, compassionate, and empathetic demeanor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students.
