Supervisor – Anaerobic Digestion

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Anaerobic Digestion Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our anaerobic digestion plant in Knaresborough. The successful candidate will ensure optimal plant performance, manage a team of technicians, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Supervising the daily operations of the anaerobic digestion plant
Day to day management of the AD operations staff - filling operational staffing gaps to ensure continuous operation of the AD plant
Monitor aspects of operations to ensure plant optimisation, power generation and smooth operation of the AD plant
Manage all aspects of AD sampling including management of 3rd party involvement
Filling operational staffing gaps to ensure continuous operation of the AD plant
Ensure effective logging and reporting of maintenance related issues using CMMS, highlighting priority jobs during daily production meeting
Operational planning of outages for AD plant
Lead, train, and manage a team of technicians and operators
Manage and audit AD Policies, procedures, daily/weekly checks
Ensure effective logging and reporting of maintenance related issues using CMMS, highlighting priority jobs during daily production meeting
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:

WAMITAB – Level 4 (Module 5, Anaerobic Digestion)
IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or equivalent formal safety qualification
Experience in Anaerobic Digestion process and working in the Anaerobic Digestion Industry
Understands relevant industry, health & safety legislation
Operational experience in Environmental Health and Safety, aspects of a Process Operation
