Days Only (Mon-Fri),

gap technical are proud to be representing established packaging business in their search for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Blackburn

Performance Objectives

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance.
Analise and resolve issues.
Conduct repairs.
Perform general maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilities.
Have a good interpersonal skills.
Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and be conversant with HACCP and BRC.
Ensure all equipment and machinery is in optimal working condition.
Set up machinery as required at production changeovers.Person Specification

The successful candidate will have 6+years of food manufacturing experience .
Familiarity with some of the following types of machinery is required:
Multihead weighing machines.
Bagging machines.
Linear weighers.
Cartoning machines.
Flow wrap machines.
Shrink wrap machines.
Coding equipment.
Food Safety equipment (Check weighers & Metal Detectors).Apply
