We are hiring into an excellent new career opportunity with a leading accountancy practice, keen to hire a Practice Accountant in Grantham and open to hiring between a Semi-Senior level, up to Manager grade. The firm are seeking someone either to do an all-round Practice Accountant job, or someone capable and willing to step up into a management position and take over client relationships from a retiring Partner. 

The job role involves accounts production for clients, tax returns, potentially the review of others work and work-flow for more experienced candidates and a wide variety of accountancy and possibly advisory services to an established client base.

The firm use IT software including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage Line 50.

Working hours: Full time 09:00 to 17:00 with ½ hour lunch.

The firm can consider part-time or full-time employees and salaries will depend on experience

This is a key hire for the firm, bringing someone in to help takeover work and client relationships, potentially an excellent career opportunity for the right person.

The firm are open to hiring either a Senior approaching their first management role or qualified / Manager level person up to Associate Director level, they are open so long as they can secure the right person.

The firm do prefer to be based in the office all the time, they like to work together for communication and most of the Grantham clients are based close to the offices
