FINTEC recruit is supporting for recruitment in seeking a Paint Shop Lead for a manufacturing business in Farnborough.  This is a permanent role with salary circa £32,000 to £34,000 depending on experience plus benefits including health and life assurance cover,.

Responsibilities:

•    Supervising a small team in driving continuous improvement processes, production and team performance to meet business goals

•    Ensure the team are aware of production schedules and priorities

•    Oversee quality control for the department and communicate production plans within the team

•    Implement health and safety practices across the paint shop

•    Manage inventory, including raw materials, paint shelf life, and purchasing

•    Manage department budgets and reporting

Skills and experience required for the Paint Shop Lead role:

•    Experience of both wet and power coating processes, able to identify areas for improvement

•    Experience with bills of materials, be organised and good multitasking skills

•    Supervisory/leadership experience for managing a small team
