Commercial Director - Planned Maintenance

My client are a leading social housing contractor who are looking for a Commercial Director to lead a planned maintenance division in the South East of England.

Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Director:

Lead and manage all commercial aspects of the division's performance and reporting.
Work closely with senior leadership to meet divisional budgets and profit targets.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies, SHEQ standards, and compliance with legislative requirements.
Drive accurate and timely commercial reporting, ensuring project success and target margin delivery.
Support in the preparation and negotiation of contracts, valuations, and final accounts.
Oversee procurement processes and subcontractor engagement to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Lead and mentor a talented team, promoting development and high performance.
The Commercial Director should have:

Previous experience of a senior commercial role within the social housing sector.
BSc in Quantity Surveying or a similar commercial discipline.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Excellent knowledge of legal and contractual processes within the construction industry.
Experience in managing large-scale projects and delivering high-quality results.
