We need a Project Engineer for our Industrial Machinery Manufacturer in Witney, Oxfordshire, OX28 4BN. With a competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our team that designs and manufactures high-performance cryogenic systems for scientific and cryogenic research groups and industries worldwide.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in project engineering within an R&D or scientific environment. While cryogenic experience would be beneficial, it is not necessary
About your responsibilities
Engineering
* Managing the technical/critical success factors of any given project for its lifetime within the company.
* In depth planning of projects
* Design of cryogenic equipment, or working closely with a design team, drawing checking.
* Technical input and management of R&D projects, co-ordination of teams.
* Customer service and communications, understanding of customer requirement.
* Driving the project (projects) to plan
Sales
* Assisting the sales function with technical specifications for tender documentation when required.
Test & Installation (understanding of, sometime involvement)
* Wiring cryogenic instruments to contract specification.
* Testing cryogenic instruments to contract specification.
* Installing systems as and when required Worldwide.
Process
Using, designing and developing processes to enhance products and improve the company's performance.
