Hunter Gatherer is working alongside our professional Registered Mental Health Nurses who are looking for a RMN in Greater Manchester. They are looking for a dedicated and professional RMN to join their team, if this is a job for you, APPLY NOW!

Here are the details:

Job Title: RMN
Band: 5 or 6
Location: Greater Manchester
Duration:  3 Months which can be ongoing
Schedule: Full Time 37.5 hours
Rate of pay: £22 to £26.50 per hour
Your responsibilities will include:

Requirements and qualifications required for this role: 

Current and valid registration with the NMC. 
Proven experience within a RMN recovery role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. 
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Previous experience in working with adults.
Must be:

PMVA trained
BLS and ILS trained
Hold a PIN number as a registered mental health nurse
Non preceptor
Skills/ Duties:

Skilled in assessing mental health and risk, managing crises, and de-escalating challenging behaviours.
Knowledgeable in psychopharmacology and physical health monitoring for young patients.
Strong in active listening, clear communication with patients, families, and teams, and accurate documentation.
Proficient in delivering evidence-based therapies and managing challenging behaviours.
Competent in suicide prevention, safeguarding, and conflict resolution.
Capable of building trust and therapeutic relationships with young patients and their families.
Able to handle the emotional demands and rapidly changing situations in a high-pressure environment.
Familiar with mental health law, safeguarding, and ethical decision-making in child and adolescent care.
