This varied and rewarding role offers an exciting opportunity to manage key workplace functions, ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient office environment while providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Management:
* Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and vendor services to ensure a professional workspace.
* Manage office supplies, equipment, and infrastructure to maintain operational efficiency.
Health and Safety:
* Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
* Provide guidance and basic training on health and safety best practices.
Reception Duties:
* Welcome visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
* Handle incoming calls, emails, and deliveries efficiently and courteously.
* Maintain an organized and tidy reception area.
Security:
* Monitor access to the premises to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.
* Assist in implementing basic security measures and reporting any incidents.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in facilities management, office coordination, or a similar role.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations (certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are a plus).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently.
