5 Axis CNC Miller / Nr Didcot / Up to £55,000 per annum

Are you an experienced 5 Axis CNC Miller looking for an exciting new opportunity? A growing manufacturing company near Didcot, Oxfordshire, is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team during an exciting phase of growth and investment in the latest technology and software.

This role is pivotal in their CNC machining operations, where you'll be manufacturing components for a diverse range of customers and projects, using cutting-edge 5 axis CNC Milling machines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.

5 Axis CNC Miller Responsibilities:

Manufacture metallic and non-metallic components using 5 axis CNC mills
Program CNC machines manually, conversationally, and offline using CAM software
Set and operate CNC machines, particularly with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
Ensure components are produced efficiently, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
Inspect your own work, performing visual and documented checks to meet ISO9001 standards.
5 Axis CNC Miller Skills & Experience:

Strong knowledge of setting and operating 5 axis CNC machining centres.
Experience with programming and operating CNC machines, particularly using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain systems.
Ability to program offline with CAM software; experience with Fusion 360 is advantageous.
Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a precision engineering environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, displaying a high degree of attention to detail.
