The Role

We are seeking a skilled and inspiring English Teacher to join our dynamic department. This is a full-time position, and you will be responsible for teaching students from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5. Your role will be to create engaging and thought-provoking lessons, encourage a love of literature, and support students in achieving their best academic potential.

You will have access to excellent resources and support from an experienced and collaborative teaching team. Whether you are an NQT or an experienced educator, this role offers fantastic opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality English lessons across various year groups

* Inspire students through engaging and creative lesson plans

* Assess and track student progress, providing tailored support where necessary

* Foster a love of literature, writing, and communication

* Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities

* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve teaching practices

What We’re Looking For

* A qualified teacher with a degree in English or a related subject

* Strong knowledge of the English curriculum

* A passion for teaching and inspiring students

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

* Previous experience teaching English in a school setting (preferred, but not essential)
