Job Title: Health Care Assistant (HCA) - Nights

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £11.64 per hour (Negotiable for candidates with NVQ qualifications)

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Nights, 19:30 to 07:30

Role Overview: The home are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join their team for night shifts. This role is essential in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of their residents during the night. The ideal candidate will be a White British female who is committed to delivering high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

* Monitor and support residents throughout the night, ensuring their comfort and safety.

* Assist with mobility and transferring residents safely.

* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

* Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing team.

* Ensure that the care environment is clean, safe, and welcoming.

* Assist with documentation and record-keeping in line with care plans and policies.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a care setting is preferred.

* NVQ qualifications are advantageous but not required.

* A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Reliability and the ability to work independently during night shifts.

* Right to work in the UK.
