About the Role

As a Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in industrializing design changes, introducing new products, and providing technical support for an established product portfolio. You will ensure robust, cost-effective manufacturing methods are implemented, driving quality standards and supporting the successful delivery of new product introduction (NPI) and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and define all aspects of the production method, including manufacturing instructions, stage drawings, setting sheets, CNC programs, tools, and gauges.
Ensure all manufacturing processes meet customer, quality, and airworthiness requirements.
Support new product introduction by delivering robust processes, procedures, and validation plans.
Analyze customer documentation (BoMs, specifications, drawings) to create accurate manufacturing processes.
Implement corrective actions for non-conformance issues to maintain Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and work practices.
Specify and justify new equipment and tooling for production requirements.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and rapid problem resolution for production operations.What You'll Need

Recognized engineering qualification (minimum HNC).
4-5 years' experience with 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks preferred).
4-5 years' experience with CAM or offline programming systems (EdgeCAM preferred).
Expertise in creating machine programs for 5-axis machining centres and mill/turn lathes (Heidenhain & FANUC controls).
Familiarity with production engineering in aerospace or regulated high-tech manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
Strong technical document creation and modification skills.
Proficiency with problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, or 8D).
Experience with AS9102, APQP, or PFMEA is advantageous.
Knowledge of SAP ERP systems is a plus.Skills and Attributes

Ability to interpret complex technical documentation and translate it into robust manufacturing processes.
Strong IT skills, including MS Office applications.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
