Salary: £34,514 - £51,179 (MPS/UPS Inner London, dependent on experience)
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4, with potential opportunities for KS5 teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student progress.
Assess, monitor, and report on student achievement.
Contribute to departmental development and extracurricular Science activities.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism desirable).
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous).
A commitment to raising attainment and inspiring students.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Have a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one.
